I Did What?

This weekend I did the craziest thing that I have done in a while.  I was going through my wallet getting rid of the millions of gift cards that I have used already, and I found some that were not used.  This one was a twenty-five dollar visa gift card.  I immediately sat down on my computer and went straight to some of my favorite websites.  I went from Google to Macy’s.com, and from Macy’s.com to amazon.  I went all over the internet searching for clothes or shoes I could buy with this gift card.  I was thinking of what I should get when all of a sudden I looked at the corner of my desk.  Sitting in the corner was an autobiography of a book that I got for a present.  Not once since getting the book have I read a chapter, but I realized that I need to read more.  I have read half of the book now and I am so glad I chose to read this book, because it is an autobiography which really interests me.  That brought me to the idea that maybe I should use this gift card to purchase another book.  I have never bought books online and I thought maybe this cold that is going around was getting to me.  This weekend, instead of using my money to buy a jacket or jeans, I used my money to buy three autobiographies.  One was the autobiography of Tim Tebow.  The next one was Hope Solo’s memoir, and the final one I purchased was Benjamin Franklin.  I don’t know why I got that last one but it was dirt cheap, and I figured why not learn about history!  I am excited to finish this book I am reading now called No Easy Day.  I cannot wait though to receive my other books.
