Campus Safari

Last night I ended up going to the Owls football game against Assumption College.  I heard from my friend that Assumption had a record of one win and five losses so I figured Southern could potentially kick butt.  Boy was I wrong!  I showed up at 7:30, because I was told that’s when the game started.  It had started earlier and the Owls were already down 14-0.  At the half it was 28-0.  I’ve been to other football games with the Owls and I noticed they did not have their usual starting quarterback in.  He was on the sidelines and was suited up so I questioned why he was not playing.  The game was a quick and brutal one.  44-0 was the final score and it was quite embarrassing for the Southern football team who could not move the ball all game.
